One of my favorite things to do in the summer is to hike. During the summer, there is more time to go for a hike but with the summer also comes the heat. A very important thing to do in the summer is to keep hydrated and this also applies for hiking, no matter what the season. We love hiking with our beloved pooches. We get to share the outdoors with a pet that is part of our family. However, there are those that don’t feel the same way about dogs and you never know if you will encounter someone on the trail that does not see them as a friend. Be courteous and keep a leash with you to keep hiking a pleasant experience for everyone on the trail.
