Hiking News: Hike Half Dome in Yosemite

Half Dome is one of the most famous landmarks at Yosemite National Park. The hike up to the top is a popular day hike that is on the strenuous side. If you have more than a day to make the hike, consider the backcountry campground at Little Yosemite Valley (you will need a wilderness permit for this campground) which is right near the trail-head to Half Dome and makes for a more leisurely, and if you go early enough, less crowded hike. I’ve done the hike many times and highly recommend it; the breathtaking view from the top is worth every step.
